This vape rules. There is a slight learning curve due to its novel design but once you're acclimated to it you can ride it high into the clouds. Still marveling at the flavor it produces.
Took very short practice to get used to the dab straw. I graduated up from a vape pen. The flavor the straw provides is amazing. You'll smack your lips a few times and say damn, that tastes good. Buy an extra battery, it's worth it.
So here's the deal. I'm a HUGE Linx fan. I've loved their products from the start. But the Linx Ares and Apollo are my two at the ready pieces. This is my 3rd Ares I've purchased not due to issues but more giving mine away and replacing them. Now I just picked up their ceramic straw tip and to borrow a phase...Ohhhh MY! This new tip RIIIPPPPS like a beast. I love the fact that they haven't gotten lazy and are always improving what was great already. Keep up the great work Linx...BRAVO! I will tell people this about the Ares. You wanna make sure the tip is touching the product but NOT submerged. You wanna hit the Ares so that only Vapor is being suvked up through the straw and not the concentrates themselves or you'll be left with a unit that is semi fused together. Anyone that uses concentrates knows that concentrates are messy sticky business at times. So clean your unit frequently and if you have had a heavy sesh with friends then fo yourself a favor...1. Do a couple high heat burns with the unit pointed straight down over something to catch drips. 2. Allow the unit to cool enough to do a full break down. 3. If you have the time clean it real quick. A couple quick passes with an alcohol swab and this bad boy is ready for action. Another tip...by an extra battery! The battery has a great life but I just find it easier to swap batteries when it dead so my Ares is always in play. Besides if your going somewhere having a spare battery is nice.
This is a well-designed tool. It makes dabbing so easy. I've learned it is VERY IMPORTANT to keep it cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. The brush for reaming out the air hole is such a great addition to the kit. I plan to keep it cleaned so it will give all the benefits of the resin, shatter, butter, budder, etc. for many years.
