As the flower and extract industry continues to change, more and more people are experiencing and experimenting with nature’s miracle plant for the first time and all politics aside, we say the more the merrier!

We get messages from around the world asking if vaping is a good option for them and how it works, so we thought we would make it easy and put that information in one easy to find place.

Vaping 101 For Beginners: What Is Vaping?

First off, lets get one of the biggest questions out of the way- Vaping, which is short for “Vaporization” is different from smoking.

During the vaping process, your flower or extract is heated rather than burned, eliminating harmful smoke which many with lung sensitivity may find painful or irritating.

Vapor is “thinner” than actual smoke, making it ideal for those who favor discretion and pure, flavorful rips.

You don’t have to just take our word for it though, as several recent studies show that people who choose vaping over smoking feel that vaping has fewer side effects when it comes to smoking. Furthermore, vaporizers are in fact designed with this in mind.

At Linx Vapor, we pride ourselves in providing health centric and innovative vaporizers for the people. Our products are free of harmful glues, dyes and paints to keep the flavor pure and fresh.

Vaping 101 For Beginners: What Is Vaping? – The Difference Between Flower and Extract Vaporizers

Another question we get asked the most is what is the main difference between flower and extract vaporizers.

This is an important question, as many may find they actual prefer one over the other over time, so let’s lay out the basics.

In a nutshell, concentrates are products made from the original plant that have been processed to keep the most desirable plant compounds (cannabinoids and terpenes.)

Concentrates come in a variety of different forms (Shatter, distillates, crumble, badder, crystalline, rosin dry sift, etc.)

There are vaporizers based on both of these forms, so what you choose will be based on your preference.

If you prefer to roll joints and feel like you would like to use a vape while on the go, flower vaporizers will be what you’re looking for. (The Linx Vapor Gaia is just what you’ve been waiting for in this case, featuring a quartz  chamber with convection heating.)

Concentrate vapes are perfect for those who want instant rips with little to no wait time and minimal effort. Prefilled concentrate cartridges are ideal for those on the go. Simply screw onto a battery and enjoy. The only downside to this is that most cartridges leave behind plenty of waste, as they have to be discarded when they are used. All of our products are refillable, meaning you purchase your favorite extract, load, clean and enjoy- you can also use 510 threaded carts with our batteries as well if you wish. (The Zero and Ember are just what you’re looking for. Click here for more info!)

So there you have it. If you still would like to learn more about the benefits of vaping, or simply just how our products work and how we stand apart from the rest, please take some time to look through our website.

Happy blazing!
